Beach Sexy/ Beach Babe

Swimwear Details:
Bandeau Top: Victoria's Secret (same style)/ High Waist Shorts: Small Boutique

You have probably noticed that I L-O-V-E anything that's high waisted. When I saw these shorts I just had to buy them! The fabric is very sheer so I knew they would be perfect to wear to the beach. But before I fell in love with the shorts, I had fallen in love with the bandeau top from Victoria's Secret. What I love about the top is that the sizes run the same as your bra size, so you will have a perfect fit. I also love the jewel on the center. When I bought the top I originally wanted to wear it with some high waisted swim bottom from American Apparel in neon yellow, being that neon is in this summer and the jewel has that color incorporated. But unfortunately I could not find them in my size. None the less, these shorts turned out to be perfect! Do you agree? :)

Alice In Wonderland With A Pop Of Coral

Outfit Details:
Skirt: Small Boutique/ Crop top: Forever21 (similar style)/ Shoes: Necessary Clothing (similar)/ Necklace: Necessary Clothing (similar style)

Hair Details:
Fohawk: YouTube

I don't know why but this pop or coral and black and white stripped skirt reminds me of Alice in Wonderland ^.^ Unfortunately the shirt doesn't not look coral in the pictures, but it is. What I really like about this outfit is that you can wear it almost anywhere. It's a fun combination, from the outfit details to my fohawk. The skirt is probably my favorite piece aside from my wedges. Just like pumps, I feel that if you're not used to walking in heels, wedges could be your best friend. You could wear it with pretty much anything and they're so comfortable. I know you're probably wondering which boutique is this lovely skirt from, unfortunately I don't remember the name :/ but it's a very small local boutique near me.
How would you wear this skirt?

Fall In The Summer

Outfit Details:
Blazer: H&M (similar)/ Bow Tie: H&M (shop item)/ Shirt: Forever21 (similar)/ High waist Pants: DrJays (similar)/ Shoes: Necessary Clothing (shop item)/ Studded Wallet: Forever21 (similar)

Makeup Details:
Lipstick: mixture of two Nars Red Lizard (shop item) and Mac Diva (shop item)/ Highlighter: Mac Soft and Gentle (shop item)/ Bronzer: Avon

Okay so I know what you're thinking, this outfit isn't really an outfit to wear during the summer, but I like to dress according to my mood. Being that it was a cloudy chilly day, it felt like fall came early, and those darker shades were a must. Now you're probably wondering where could you wear an outfit like this. Well you could wear this outfit to any special event where making a statement was imperative. Although the colors are not bright, they do stand out. As for my makeup, I kept it simple but bold just like the outfit. I did not use any eye makeup with the exception of my favorite mascara (shop item) because I wanted to keep my dark lip the focal point.
Which events would you wear an outfit like this to?

A Minty Summer

Bag: Aldo (similar on sale)

Outfit Details
Pants: Necessary Clothing/ Blouse: Small Boutique/ Shoes: Foever21/ Rings: Forever21 (similar)/ Necklace: Gift (similar)/ Bracelet: Aldo/ Watch: Michael Kors (shop item)

I love the bright colors that summer brings. It really brightens up my day and lightens my mood and I have become OBSESSED with this Aldo bag, I want it in every color! I just had to put an outfit together to show it off. However, being that I "shopped my closet", a lot of the items I wore are old and might be hard to find :/ I've always been afraid of wearing colored pants because I did not think it would look good on me, but when I came across these mint pants I just had to buy them! Putting this outfit together became easy once I had the shoes, because after that I knew I could wear any plain shirt and complete my outfit with some accessories. Keeping it simple, I did the famous donut bun, and kept my make up light and tasteful. I bronzed the hollow of my cheeks and highlighted my cheek bones and added a light pink lip color. I feel this look is very casual even though I am wearing heels. It simple but cute, like I've said before, "sometimes less is more." :)

Cleopatra: Featuring MUA Nicole Washington

One of my friends Nicole who you may know from her YouTube channel or her instagram asked me to be her model for this Cleopatra inspired makeup, and of course I said YES!
You can use this look for Halloween of course or a costume party anytime of the year.

What She Used:

Foundation: Mac Studio Sculpt (shop item) / Lipstick: Make Up Forever Pearly Gold (similar) / Black Liner: Mac Black Track (shop item) / Blue Liner: Urban Decay Deep End (shop item) / Blush: Mac Sunbasque (shop item) / Eyebrows: Mac Spiked pencil (shop item)

I really like this look because she introduced me to products I wouldn't have thought of wearing on a day to day basis. For example, the blush, the blue liner, and even the lipstick! I usually wear a very light shaded blush, black or white eye liners and different shades of pink for my lips, never would I have thought to try such a bold blush, blue liner, and gold lipstick. Now that I've seen how great it looks, I will definitely incorporate some of these products into my makeup. Yes, this is the perfect makeup for costume, but what are your take aways?

Yellow Blazer: From Brunch To Dinner

Blazer: Wet Seal (similar)

So being that my favorite color this Spring/ Summer is yellow, I just HAD to show you guys how I wore this yellow blazer from brunch to dinner. A blazer can be used as a way to accessorize, like a scarf or a purse, it really ties an outfit together.

Brunch

Dress: Small Boutique (similar) / Shoes: Easy Pickins (similar) / Necklace: Gift (similar) / Ring: Forever21 & H&M (similar) / Watch: Michael Kors (shop item)

As you may have noticed, this outfit is a contrasts of colors. I feel that for the summertime it's not necessary to match, but to wear vibrant colors that compliment each other. Being that its hotter in the day then it is at night, I felt this lace dress was perfect for brunch. I love this outfit because all the colors are bold making each item focal points, yet the outfit is simple and looks well together. I wanted to keep my accessories, hair and makeup very simple to not overpower the outfit. I wore a pearl necklace that was a gift from my mommy with some pearl earrings. As for my hair and makeup, I did the crown braid with some curly fall outs, bronzed my face, and highlighted my cheek bones and voila!

Dinner

Necklace: Banana Republic (similar) / Top: H&M (shop item) / Boyfriend Jeans: Gap (similar) / Shoes: Shi Pumps (shop item) / Studded Wallet: Forever21 (Similar) / Watch: Michael Kors (shop item) /  Earrings: Avon (similar)

So of course I just had to wear my Shii pumps for this look, everyone that knows me knows how much I L-O-V-E pumps! I feel they are easier to walk in if you're not used to wearing heels for more than an hour. But asides me loving these pumps, I wore them for this dinner look because they match perfect with my Banana Republic necklace that was a gift from my grandmother some time ago. I know earlier I said it not necessary to match as long as the colors are vibrant, but that's where my yellow blazer comes in. You can wear boyfriend jeans and a plain white top with pretty much anything. But pairing them with this yellow blazer, necklace, and shoes really made everything stand out and tied everything together. To complete this outfit I used my black studded wallet as a clutch and some gold and black earrings. I kept my hair and makeup the same, but you go do something more fun by adding a bold lip color like red, and letting your hair down.
Which look you like best? :)
