DIY Perfume Tray For Your Makeup Vanity

Now that I've finally moved, I got the makeup vanity that I've been OBSESSING over for MONTHS! Being that I don't have a lot of makeup (well, not as much as I'd like lol) it all fits in my drawer, leaving me with all the space on the table to decorate. And this is what I came up with...

What you will need:
  • Gold and silver glitter
  • Silver spray paint
  • Mod Podge glue
  • Craft wood knobs (4)
  • Hot glue gun and glue stick
  • Picture frame
You can find all similar items at Michaels

Now, lets get started!

Step 1:

I started this project by spray painting my craft wood silver. I decided to go with silver because the picture frame I purchased is also silver, but you can go with any color of your choice. I waited about 10- 15 minutes for it to fully dry.

Step 2:

After removing the display photo that came with the picture frame, I turned it over and covered it with Mod Podge glue and then sprinkled an even amount of both, gold and silver glitter throughout the photo. I let it sit outside to dry for about 15- 20 minutes. I didn't use any techniques when applying the glitter, but you can be creative and do different designs, like striping.

Step 3:

After removing the stick behind the picture frame that allows it to stand, I used the hot glue gun to glue the craft woods to all four corners of the frame.

Step 4:

Once the photo is all dried up, I removed the extra glitter by simply shaking it. Then its time to frame it and decorate your new perfume tray as you wish on your makeup vanity ! :)

This was a very fun project to do and I just had to share it with you! Hope you like it :)
